Build and maintain backend services and ingestion pipelines supporting high-volume data intake, validation, transformation, and downstream integration. Deliver clean, tested, well-documented services that meet enterprise security and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and REST APIs in Python (FastAPI / Django or similar)
- Implement ingestion, validation, and transformation logic for bulk data processing
- Build and optimise data-processing routines (Pandas / Polars) over large datasets
- Integrate with relational stores, messaging, and external enterprise systems, including SAP (IDoc / OData / APIs)
- Implement a configurable business-rules layer and exception handling
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and CI/CD
Required
- 3–5 yrs backend development, strong Python
- REST API design and async patterns
- Data-processing experience (Pandas / Polars); comfort with large-volume, batch workloads
- SQL (Azure SQL / PostgreSQL) and ORM
- Testing (pytest)
- Git-based CI/CD
- Nice to have: Azure (Container Apps / App Service, storage, messaging), SAP integration exposure
- Fluent English
Pay: ₹1,337,577.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
