Title: Soft Skills Backup Trainer

Engagement: Part Time
Frequency: 1 day per week (Thursdays)
About the Role
We are looking for a confident, articulate, and student-friendly Soft Skills Backup Trainer. The trainer will work closely with the Head Teacher and will be responsible for conducting sessions on Model United Nations (MUN) and Financial Literacy whenever the Head Teacher is unavailable. On days when the Head Teacher is present, the trainer will assist them in conducting sessions, managing activities, and supporting students.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct MUN Sessions
- Deliver engaging and structured Model UN sessions for students.
- Introduce students to international affairs, diplomacy, public speaking, negotiation, and debate.
- Facilitate mock committee sessions, discussions, and MUN-related activities.
Conduct Financial Literacy Sessions
- Teach age-appropriate concepts related to personal finance, saving, budgeting, banking, investments, and financial decision-making.
- Use practical examples and interactive activities to make financial concepts relatable to students.
Backup Teaching Responsibilities
- Independently take over scheduled sessions when the Head Teacher is absent.
- Ensure continuity of the programme without compromising the quality or structure of planned sessions.
Assist the Head Teacher
- Support the Head Teacher during sessions when she is present.
- Assist with classroom activities, student engagement, group work, assessments, and session preparation.
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and public-speaking skills.
- Prior experience in soft-skills training, MUN, debating, public speaking, financial literacy, or student development will be preferred.
- Comfortable working with school students and facilitating interactive classroom sessions.
- Ability to independently conduct sessions in the absence of the Head Teacher.
- Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Well-spoken, confident, punctual, and professionally presented.
- Willingness to prepare for sessions and coordinate closely with the Head Teacher.
- Prior teaching/training experience with school students will be an added advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who can seamlessly transition between being an independent trainer and a supporting team member, taking ownership of the classroom when required while working collaboratively with the Head Teacher when she is present.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,500.00 per day
