Job Summary
The Social Media Head will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for Cheran Group, enhancing the organization's digital presence, increasing brand awareness, generating admissions and recruitment leads, and engaging students, parents, alumni, employees, and the public across all digital platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the organization's business and branding goals.
- Build annual and monthly social media calendars.
- Plan campaigns for admissions, placements, recruitment, events, achievements, and corporate branding.
Content Management
- Create engaging content including:
- Graphics
- Videos & Reels
- Posters
- Carousels
- Stories
- Blogs
- Student Success Stories
- Faculty Achievements
- Campus Highlights
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms.
Platform Management
Manage and grow official accounts on:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- LinkedIn
- YouTube
- X (Twitter)
- Threads
- WhatsApp Channels
- Google Business Profile
Campaign Management
- Execute paid advertising campaigns.
- Plan lead generation campaigns for admissions.
- Run recruitment branding campaigns.
- Increase organic engagement and followers.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs such as:
- Reach
- Engagement
- Impressions
- Click-through Rate (CTR)
- Lead Generation
- Conversion Rate
- Audience Growth
- Submit weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Optimize campaigns using analytics insights.
Event Promotion
- Cover institutional events through live updates.

Brand Reputation Management
- Monitor comments, messages, and reviews.
- Respond professionally to public queries.
- Manage online reputation and crisis communication.
Team Coordination
