We are looking for a proactive Material Follow-up Executive to ensure the timely procurement and availability of materials required for production. The candidate will coordinate with suppliers, purchase, stores, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and prevent production delays.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, and Production departments regarding material requirements.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and update delivery status.
- Ensure materials are available as per the production schedule.
- Maintain records of material receipts, shortages, and pending items.
- Prepare daily and weekly material follow-up reports.
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery commitments and dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for material transportation and receipt.
- Assist in resolving material shortages and supplier-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update ERP/Excel records.
Required Skills
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Basic understanding of purchase and inventory processes.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or SPM industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP/Tally is preferred.
- Familiarity with production planning and inventory management.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Any Graduate with relevant experience can also apply.
