Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage interior design projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a keen eye for design, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and executed efficiently.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards and client specifications through regular inspections and reviews.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential issues or delays proactively to keep projects on track.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7 to 8+ years of project management experience in the interior design or construction industry.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
