Job Overview
Baseline is looking for a Sr. Site Execution Engineer (Mechanical) with 8–10 years of experience in industrial projects. The role is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical works at the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute day-to-day mechanical construction activities at the project site.
- Manage installation and erection of piping, equipment, structural steel, tanks, utility systems, and associated mechanical works.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed as per project schedules and milestones.
- Review mechanical drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications before execution.
- Plan and monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and tools required for site activities.
- Ensure all mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Verify work measurements and support contractor billing and quantity reconciliation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve execution-related issues in coordination with design and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with project safety procedures, statutory regulations, and quality control requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch-list clearance, and project handover activities.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical site execution for industrial projects.
- Strong experience in piping installation, equipment erection, structural steel, fabrication, utilities, and mechanical construction works.
- Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience in contractor management, site coordination, and project execution.
- Basic understanding of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices, QA/QC procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Good leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with experience in steel plants, manufacturing facilities, or other industrial construction projects will be preferred.
- Candidates willing to work at the Sandur, Karnataka project site.
