Production Operations
- Supervise Injection Moulding production during the assigned shift.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle time, and output.
- Minimize machine downtime and production losses.
Process & Machine Monitoring
- Set and monitor machine process parameters.
- Ensure proper machine start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Coordinate mould changeovers and production changeovers.
- Monitor hot runner systems and mould performance.
Quality Control
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Monitor rejection, flash, short moulding, sink marks, and other defects.
- Take immediate corrective actions to minimize defects.
Manpower Management
- Allocate work to operators and helpers.
- Monitor operator performance and productivity.
- Train new operators on machine operation and safety.
- Maintain discipline and shift attendance.
Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine breakdowns.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Report machine issues to the Production Manager.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Maintain 5S standards in the production area.
- Ensure clean and organized workstations.
Reporting
- Prepare shift production reports.
- Maintain production, rejection, downtime, and mould change records.
- Provide proper handover to the next shift.
