Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design components, systems, or products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
- Review and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Support prototype development and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide technical solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Industrial Engineering (or relevant field).
- 2–6 years of experience in design engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is preferred.
- Knowledge of simulation/analysis tools (ANSYS, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
