UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and managers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, mock-ups and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets for Web and Mobile Applications
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites and apps function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar design role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design projects across web and mobile interfaces.
- Proficiency in Figma (primary design tool).
- Working knowledge of additional design/wireframe tools such as Adobe XD and Canva (good to have).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
