An EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Executive in a four-wheeler (car) dealership manages the digital backbone of the showroom and service center. They are responsible for data management, vehicle billing, and keeping the DMS (Dealer Management System) synchronized with the car manufacturer’s (OEM) servers (such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Hyundai, or Toyota).
- Vehicle Billing: Generating final sales invoices for new cars.
- Verification: Double-checking customer data, finance/loan approvals, insurance details, and chosen accessories before pushing the bill.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring correct GST calculations and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) applications on vehicle sales.
2. DMS & Data Management
- Real-time Updates: Inputting data regarding stock-in (vehicles arriving from the factory), stock-out (vehicles delivered), and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) status.
- OEM Coordination: Synchronizing dealership data daily with the manufacturer's portal to maintain transparency on targets, bookings, and inventory.
3. MIS Reporting
- Compiling daily, weekly, and monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports for the General Manager or Dealer Principal.
- Tracking key performance metrics like booking-to-delivery ratios, service productivity, and slow-moving inventory.
4. RTO & Insurance Coordination
- Uploading necessary documentation to government portals for vehicle registration (Vahan/RTO).
- Logging insurance policy details into the system to ensure smooth vehicle delivery.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
