A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operator sets up, operates, and maintains specialized machinery to produce precision components. They are responsible for translating blueprints, programming instructions, loading raw materials, and inspecting finished parts using precision tools to ensure exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Programming: Input coordinates, load pre-written programs, and calibrate 3- or 4-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments for mills and lathes.
- Operation & Monitoring: Load raw materials, run test cycles, and supervise machines during operation while making minor feed and speed adjustments.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects using measurement instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, and gauges to meet tolerance requirements.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance, clean equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical or software issues to minimize downtime.
- Safety & Documentation: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain accurate logs of production runs.
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
