Job Description – PPC Engineer (Planning & Production Control)
Position: PPC Engineer
Department: Production / Planning
Industry: Metal Sheet Manufacturing (Stainless Steel)
Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Relevant Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production planning as per customer requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution of orders.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and dispatch departments for a smooth workflow.
- Maintain proper production planning and inventory control of stainless steel materials.
- Track raw material availability and production status.
- Prepare MIS reports, production reports, and planning data in Excel.
- Monitor machine loading, production targets, and delivery schedules.
- Reduce production delays and improve process efficiency.
- Follow up for pending materials and ensure uninterrupted production activities.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of Stainless Steel grades such as SS 304, SS 316, etc.
- Experience in the sheet metal manufacturing industry preferred.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, basic formulas, and reports).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle production planning and scheduling independently.
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PPC / production planning in the sheet metal or stainless steel manufacturing industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Knowledge of production processes in stainless steel sheet manufacturing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
