About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Print Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong artistic foundation with expertise in sketching, painting, and digital design. This role requires developing original print stories, surface concepts, and embellishment ideas that align with the brand's aesthetic across seasonal collections.
Responsibilities
- Develop original print concepts and artwork for seasonal collections.
- Create hand-painted, hand-drawn, and digital artworks for prints and surface development.
- Research trends, textiles, colours, motifs, and craft techniques to develop seasonal design stories.
- Work closely with the fashion design team to translate concepts into cohesive garments and collections.
- Develop surface embellishment concepts, embroidery placements, and artwork for occasionwear and luxury prêt.
- Prepare production-ready print files and artwork for various print techniques.
- Assist in the design and development of seasonal collections from concept to final garment.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience, preferably with a designer label or luxury fashion brand.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related discipline.
- Excellent sketching, illustration, and painting skills.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Good understanding of print development, colour separation, repeats, and various textile printing techniques.
- Knowledge of surface development, embroidery, and embellishment techniques.
- Basic understanding of garment construction and how prints translate onto different silhouettes.
- Strong eye for colour, composition, proportion, and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
