Jankalyan Urban Co-op Credit Society, Chh. Sambhajinagar is looking for an experienced and responsible Branch Manager to manage branch operations, business development, customer relationships, and overall branch performance.
The ideal candidate should have relevant banking / CA-related work experience and strong knowledge of branch operations, accounting, customer service, and financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the branch efficiently.
- Supervise and guide branch staff to achieve business and operational targets.
- Handle customer relationships and resolve customer queries and complaints.
- Manage deposits, loans, recoveries, and other banking-related activities.
- Monitor branch accounts, cash handling, documentation, and daily transactions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books, records, and financial documents.
- Support loan processing, verification, documentation, and recovery activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
- Prepare and review branch reports and submit them to management.
- Coordinate with the Head Office and ensure smooth branch functioning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation in Commerce, Banking, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant Banking / CA work experience is required.
- Previous experience in a bank, credit society, cooperative bank, NBFC, or financial institution will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial transactions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with banking/accounting software.
- Ability to manage staff and branch operations independently.
