Summary:
As an Application Designer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. The role includes analyzing existing processes and contributing to the design of applications that align with organizational goals. Throughout the day, the Application Designer engages in discussions to refine requirements and ensures that the proposed solutions effectively support business operations. This position requires a thoughtful approach to translating business challenges into practical application designs, fostering continuous improvement and innovation within the project environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate application requirements.
- Support the development of detailed design documentation to guide implementation efforts.
- Assist in identifying potential risks and propose mitigation strategies during the design phase.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their understanding of application design principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines).
- Experience with configuring and customizing Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions to meet specific business needs.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into effective application designs.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management and best practices in software design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges encountered during application design and implementation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of development experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
