Pulse Heart Super Speciality Hospital is seeking an experienced Nursing Superintendent to oversee nursing operations, maintain patient care standards, and manage nursing staff across all departments.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth nursing services, staff discipline, training, and coordination with doctors and hospital administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage nursing staff across ICU, wards, OT, emergency, and other departments
- Ensure high standards of patient care and nursing practices
- Prepare nursing duty rosters and monitor staffing requirements
- Handle nursing staff training, discipline, and performance monitoring
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and hospital management
- Ensure NABH and hospital protocol compliance
- Monitor infection control and patient safety practices
- Handle critical patient care escalations and operational issues
- Maintain nursing reports, audits, and documentation
Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- 5–10 years experience in hospital nursing administration
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in ICU and critical care operations preferred
- Knowledge of NABH standards is an advantage
