A Hardware, Networking & Ethical Hacking Faculty is responsible for providing students with practical and industry-oriented training in computer hardware, networking, system administration, cybersecurity, and ethical hacking.
Key Responsibilities Hardware & IT Support
- Teach computer hardware components, assembly, installation, and maintenance.
- Train students in hardware troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Teach operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide practical training on Windows and Linux environments.
- Explain storage devices, RAM, processors, motherboards, SMPS, and peripherals.
Networking
- Teach networking fundamentals, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
- Provide hands-on training with routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and network devices.
- Train students in network configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
- Conduct practical networking lab exercises and projects.
- Introduce network security concepts and best practices.
Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity
- Teach ethical hacking and cybersecurity concepts in an authorized training environment.
- Explain common vulnerabilities, attack methods, and security risks.
- Provide practical training in vulnerability assessment and penetration-testing fundamentals.
- Introduce tools and techniques used for security testing.
- Train students in Linux-based security environments.
- Teach basic web, network, and system security concepts.
- Conduct controlled security labs and cybersecurity exercises.
- Guide students in identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate security measures.
- Teach cybersecurity ethics, legal boundaries, and responsible security practices.
Student Training & Development
- Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Conduct theory and hands-on laboratory sessions.
- Monitor student performance and provide technical guidance.
- Help students complete industry-oriented projects.
- Prepare students for technical interviews and entry-level IT/cybersecurity roles.
- Keep training content updated with current technologies and industry practices.
