Job Title: Tandoor Cook (Commis II / Commis III)
Department: Kitchen – Tandoor Section
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook tandoori items as per standard recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
- Assist in marination, mise-en-place, and food preparation.
- Ensure food is prepared and served on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section.
- Follow food safety and kitchen sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Indian and tandoori cuisine.
- Experience in handling a tandoor oven.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Reporting To: Executive Chef
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
