Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Robot Teaching Engineers to program, teach, commission, and optimize industrial robots for automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in robot programming, process validation, cycle time optimization, and customer support during project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform robot teaching, programming, and commissioning of industrial robotic systems.
- Develop and optimize robot paths to achieve efficient operation and reduced cycle times.
- Configure tool data, user frames, work objects, and robot parameters.
- Conduct robot trials, process validation, and production support.
- Troubleshoot robot programming and application-related issues.
- Support installation, commissioning, and production startup activities.
- Coordinate with design, controls, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and operators.
- Maintain program backups, technical documentation, and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in robot teaching, programming, and commissioning.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in industrial robot programming and teaching.
- Experience in robot path creation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of coordinate systems, tool frames, user frames, and work objects.
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and process drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC interfacing and industrial automation systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer interaction skills.
- Willingness to travel for project execution and customer support.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with ABB and/or FANUC robots.
- Experience in robotic welding, spot welding, arc welding, material handling, palletizing, machine tending, assembly, sealing, or dispensing applications.
- Experience in cycle time optimization and production support.
- Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, and industrial automation projects.
