Job Description – Logistics & Operations Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office administration and coordination activities to ensure smooth business operations
- Create and process Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Challans etc. using Zoho Books, Tally or other ERP/accounting systems that we may use in the future
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, logistics, accounts, suppliers, transporters, and internal departments for timely order fulfilment and operational support
- Schedule and monitor deliveries, shipments, dispatches, and inventory movements
- Track customer orders and follow up on pending shipments, deliveries, and operational requirements
- Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, dispatches, inventory movements, vendor documents, and operational reports
- Prepare shipping documents, operational reports, spreadsheets, and other business documentation as required
- Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy and support inventory-related documentation processes
- Handle customer, distributor, and vendor documentation requirements and coordinate procurement and delivery status updates
- Support procurement, supply chain planning, billing coordination, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation activities
- Maintain filing systems, document control, courier coordination, correspondence, and internal communications
- Resolve delivery, inventory, and operational issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards
- Provide overall administrative and operational support to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of the organization
- Monitor local, national and international regulatory and compliance requirements and prepare and file required paperwork with the regulatory bodies
- Handle enquiries across various sales channels such as the company portal, IndiaMart etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or other related fields + 8 years of Logistics and operations Coordination or Office Admin experience (FMCG preferred) in a fast-paced environment or equivalent experience in the absence of a degree
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic computer skills
- Past experience using Zoho Books is a big plus
Salary and Benefits:
- Monthly salary - ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 (based on experience)
- Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI)
- Performance based annual bonus
Job Location – In our factory in Korattur, Chennai.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
