Job Summary
INTERNATIONAL TRANSMISSION LIMITED (ITL) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our manufacturing team at the Pundhe factory. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components and equipment to ensure smooth plant operations and high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components, equipment, and machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and alignment of mechanical systems and equipment
- Inspect components and ensure proper fit, finish, and functionality
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support timely resolution of breakdowns
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures
- Support production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI in Fitter Trade or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, fitting, and maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Dial Gauges
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
