About the Role
This internship is designed for ambitious students and fresh graduates who want hands-on exposure to the wealth management industry. At Devmani Traders, an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor and Authorized Partner of Kotak Securities, you will gain practical experience in investment research, mutual fund operations, equity markets, client servicing, and financial advisory support. This is an opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals and build a strong foundation for a career in finance.
What You'll Learn & DoMutual Funds Operations & Research
- Learn different types of mutual funds and how they are categorised.
- Study fund categories — Large Cap, Mid Cap, Small Cap, Flexi Cap, ELSS, Index & thematic.
- Assist in building model portfolios across age groups & risk profiles.
- Support client portfolio reviews, rebalancing & proposal preparation.
- Help with KYC, onboarding compliance & online transaction execution.
Marketing & Digital Content
- Create digital posts for LinkedIn, Instagram & WhatsApp broadcasts.
- Design market update cards, SIP creatives & client communication mailers.
- Assist in building Devmani's social media presence and content calendar.
- Use AI tools (Canva, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to produce quality content.
Equity Markets
- Learn equity research basics — fundamentals, sector analysis, earnings & valuation.
- Listen to quarterly concalls and build a market perspective over time.
- Learn to prepare market commentary, outlook notes & equity summaries.
- Assist with Demat & trading account opening end-to-end.
Insurance & Loans (Exposure)
- Get introduced to life insurance products — term, whole life & endowment plans.
- Learn retail loan products — home loans, LAMF & LAP mechanics.
