About the Role
Chromaprint India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and technically strong New Product Development (NPD) Executive to drive the development of innovative IML plastic packaging products. The candidate will work closely with customers, Key Account Managers, and internal teams to convert customer requirements into successful commercial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle new product enquiries from customers.
- Discuss product requirements and specifications with customers.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers to understand customer needs and business opportunities.
- Analyze technical drawings, samples, and product specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new products considering design, tooling, injection moulding, and IML requirements.
- Research and evaluate new packaging concepts, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, and procurement teams during product development.
- Manage product trials, sample development, and customer approvals.
- Present feasibility findings and obtain management approval for development projects.
- Follow up with customers throughout the development and commercialization process.
- Maintain project documentation and development records.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Technology, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in New Product Development, thin-wall containers, Plastic Packaging, IML Containers, or the Printing Industry.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of thin-wall containers manufactured using Injection and blow Moulding processes.
- Understanding of In-Mould Label (IML) packaging.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong coordination and project management abilities.
