Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant with a Mechanical Engineering background to support our sales team in handling government tender-related activities and client coordination. The candidate should have basic knowledge of government tenders, documentation, and sales processes. Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in preparing and submitting government tenders and quotations.
- Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities.
- Maintain tender documentation, records, and reports.
- Coordinate with clients and internal departments for required information and approvals.
- Prepare technical and commercial documents as per tender requirements.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and payments.
- Support in market research and competitor analysis.
- Maintain proper communication with vendors and clients.
- Ensure timely submission of tender documents and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Government Tender processes and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Fresher or candidates with up to 6 months of experience can apply.
- Basic understanding of industrial products/equipment will be an added advantage.
