Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Evaluation & Selection:
Analyze and evaluate potential suppliers to identify those capable of delivering high-quality products at competitive pricing.
2. Negotiation & Procurement:
Negotiate terms with suppliers regarding lead-time, cost, and quality to maximize organizational benefit.
3. Vendor & Supplier Management:
Manage and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to cost, delivery schedules, and quality objectives.
4. Sourcing Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies based on supplier studies and portfolio analyses.
5. Delivery Coordination:
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and minimize production delays.
6. Procurement Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all commercial, legal, and contractual requirements throughout the procurement process.
7. Quality Improvement:
Collaborate with vendors for continuous quality improvement initiatives.
8. Purchase Order Management & Vendor Development:
Issue and manage purchase orders, and support vendor development activities.
9. Domain Expertise:
Relevant experience in the sheet metal industry.
Basic conceptual understanding of electrical buyouts.
Familiarity with project cost estimation.
10. Conceptual Purchasing Knowledge:
Supplier evaluation and auditing.
Interviewing and onboarding vendors.
Supplier plant/distribution center visits.
Policy formulation in collaboration with suppliers.
Record maintenance and contract evaluation.
11. Material Management Skills:
Coordinate with supply chain for invoicing and purchase order processing.
Practical know-how of inventory control and management systems.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
