1. Structural Design & Analysis
- Perform structural analysis and design for RCC, steel, and composite structures.
- Design structural components including:
- Foundations
- Columns
- Beams
- Slabs
- Pile foundations
- Equipment foundations
- Solar Module Mounting Structures (MMS)
- Conduct wind load, seismic load, and other structural load calculations.
2. Engineering Calculations
- Prepare detailed design calculations and reports.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as:
- IS 456
- IS 800
- IS 875
- IS 1893
- Verify structural stability, safety, and serviceability.
3. Software & Modelling
Use structural analysis and design software such as:
- STAAD.Pro
- ETABS
- SAFE
- AutoCAD
Prepare structural models, analyze load combinations, and review output results.
4. Drawing Review & Coordination
- Review structural drawings and reinforcement details.
- Coordinate with:
- Architects
- Geotechnical engineers
- Electrical & mechanical teams
- Project management teams
- Ensure drawings match the approved design calculations.
5. Site Support
- Provide technical clarification to site teams.
- Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Assist in resolving construction-related design issues.
6. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all designs follow latest codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of design documents.
- Participate in design review meetings and client discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
Required Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in structural design.
- Experience in building, industrial, or renewable energy projects preferred.
