Fragrant Nature Munnar, a classified Five-Star Luxury Hotel & Resort nestled amidst the breathtaking hills of Munnar, Kerala, is urgently looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Commi Chefs - Continental / South /North to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in the respective cuisine ( Continental/North/Chinese).
- Assist in menu planning and development by suggesting new ideas and recipes.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of dishes.
- Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen team for inventory management.
- Ensure timely preparation of dishes during service hours.
- Team Collaboration
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff (for CDP and Senior CDP positions).
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and food safety regulations.
- Properly handle and store ingredients to avoid waste and ensure quality.
- Report any maintenance or operational issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Commi: 1-2 years of experience in the respective cuisine.
- Education:
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Continental/North/Chinese cuisine techniques.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
