Job Description: IT Infrastructure SME (L2 / Subject Matter Expert)

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management

Manage Windows and Linux servers, including administration, patching, performance monitoring, and service availability.

Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and related infrastructure services.

Support network troubleshooting and coordinate with ISPs and infrastructure vendors.
Security Management
-
Manage endpoint security, antivirus, EDR, DLP, MDM, email security, and security monitoring solutions.

Review security alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation activities.

Implement security hardening, vulnerability management, and patch compliance programs.
Compliance & Governance
-
Implement and maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS) controls aligned with ISO 27001:2022 and HIPAA Security Rule requirements.

Develop and maintain IT security policies, standards, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Support risk assessments, compliance reviews, audits, and corrective action tracking.

Manage IT-related compliance awareness programs and phishing simulations.
Backup, BCP & DR
-
Manage backup operations, recovery testing, and restoration activities.

Develop, maintain, and periodically test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery procedures.

Ensure backup compliance and recovery readiness.
Incident & Problem Management
-
Handle L2/L3 escalations from Front Desk Engineers.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and critical outages.

Lead major incident management and service restoration efforts.
Vendor & Project Coordination
-
Coordinate with OEMs, ISPs, software vendors, and third-party service providers.

Evaluate and recommend technology improvements, upgrades, and security enhancements.

Support implementation of new IT infrastructure and security initiatives.
Reporting & Governance

Review SLA performance and service metrics.

Prepare monthly operational, security, compliance, and management reports.
Participate in governance meetings and provide strategic recommendations for IT operations and security improvements.
