Kasper Engineering Pvt Ltd is a leading manufacturing company specializing in products like High Mast, Octagonal Poles, High Mast, Flag Mast, Decorative Poles, Stadium Mast etc. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to take full operational charge of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving efficiency, quality, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee all plant operations, including Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Dispatch, ensuring seamless and highly efficient end-to-end processes.3
- Production and Inventory Control: Implement and monitor strict control measures to eliminate unapproved or excess production and ensure optimal utilization of materials and resources.3
- Material and Scrap Management: Develop, document, and enforce a rigorous system for inventory, material handling, and scrap management to minimize waste and ensure accountability.3
- Maintenance & Reliability: Establish a proactive and effective maintenance schedule to minimize machine breakdowns and production losses.43
- Dispatch Supervision: Exercise complete control over the Dispatch department to ensure accurate and timely shipments and prevent issues like dispatching excess stock.3
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Team Management: Provide strong, hands-on leadership, mentorship, and performance management to all departmental heads and staff, fostering a culture of ownership and adherence to company policies.3
- Compliance: Ensure the entire plant operates in strict compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in plant operations, with significant tenure in a senior leadership role (Plant Head/General Manager).
- Prior experience in the steel fabrication or pole manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and manage P&L for a manufacturing unit.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
