We are an NGO- Spherule Foundation and are starting a new opening NICU department and are looking for an NICU Nurse
Reports to: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to neonates
- Monitor and document vital signs, feeding, and medication administration
2. NICU Setup and Maintenance:
- Ensure NICU equipment is functioning properly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized NICU environment
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Communicate effectively with parents and families
4. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Accurately document patient information and care provided
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports
5. Professional Development:
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal care
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Intervention:
- Assess neonates' conditions and respond to changes
- Implement interventions as prescribed by the medical team
2. Equipment Management:
- Operate and maintain NICU equipment, such as ventilators and incubators
3. Family Support:
- Provide emotional support and education to families
- Encourage family involvement in care
Requirements:
1. Education and Training:
- Nursing degree with specialization in neonatal care
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NICU nursing certification)
2. Experience:
- Previous experience in NICU or pediatric nursing
3. Skills:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
