About the Role
The Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant will be a key contributor to our Workday engagements, supporting implementation and AMS activities with a focus on Absence Management (AM), Time Tracking (TT), and regression testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery across UST customers.
The Opportunity and Responsibilities:
- Support Workday Absence Management and Time Tracking configurations, testing, and deployment activities across project lifecycles
- Perform and support regression testing to ensure system stability and integrity during changes or enhancements
- Actively contribute to project deliverables under guidance and support senior consultants when required
- Manage assigned tasks in alignment with project scope, timelines, and quality standards
- Coordinate with team members and stakeholders for smooth execution of deliverables
- Understand client requirements and assist in providing appropriate solutions within the Workday framework
- Participate in discussions to share insights, learnings, and best practices from project experience
- Identify issues and support troubleshooting activities, escalating when required
- Contribute to documentation, testing cycles, and system validation
- Develop knowledge and skills through continuous learning, certifications, and hands-on experience
- Use effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams and clients
What you must have:
- Workday Certification in Absence Management and Time Tracking (Mandatory)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant Workday hands-on experience
- Experience supporting regression testing activities within Workday environments
- Basic to intermediate experience in Workday Absence and Time Tracking configurations
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes and functional concepts
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across teams
- Experience working in implementation or AMS/support projects preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate appropriately
Bonus points if:
- Prior experience working with other HRMS platforms such as Oracle or PeopleSoft
- Exposure to end-to-end Workday implementation lifecycle
