The Driver is responsible for safely transporting customer vehicles, staff, and materials as required by the service showroom. The role includes vehicle pickup and delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and handle customer vehicles within and outside the showroom premises
- Pick up and deliver vehicles from/to customer locations
- Ensure proper documentation during vehicle handover (before and after service)
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicles
- Assist in moving vehicles within the workshop or parking area
- Follow all traffic rules and safety guidelines
- Report any vehicle damage, accidents, or issues immediately
- Support showroom staff with errands (e.g., spare parts pickup, document delivery)
- Maintain a log of trips, fuel usage, and timings
Requirements:
- Valid driving license (LMV; additional licenses are a plus)
- Proven experience as a driver (automobile showroom experience preferred)
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- Basic understanding of vehicle handling and safety
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours
