Role description
Technical Process Consultant (Bizzdesign Alfabet)
The Technical Process Consultant works with UST s business analyst and is primarily responsible for translating business and functional requirements into Alfabet platform configurations across Meta Models, Workflows, Dashboards, Reports, Security, Data Migration, and Integration Frameworks. The role also supports testing, deployment, service transition, and stakeholder engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle. The role focuses on configuring standard Alfabet capabilities, supporting testing and data migration activities, and assisting clients in adopting the solution effectively.
UST IPA service line will provide required training and support the role throughout the engagement.
- Engage with UST s business analyst and architect to understand processes, requirements, and desired outcomes.
- Analyse business requirements and document configuration specifications for the Alfabet platform.
- Configure Alfabet objects, forms, workflows, dashboards, reports, and user permissions using standard product capabilities.
- Support data mapping, data migration, and validation activities during implementation projects.
- Configure of Alfabet integrations and data import services.
- Conduct system testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve configuration-related defects.
- Prepare user guides, configuration as-built documentation, and conduct KT as required.
- 3 to 5 years experience in business process modelling, business systems analysis, or enterprise application configuration roles.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documentation, training materials, and user procedures.
- Experience configuring commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms such as Alfabet, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, PPM, BPM, or similar enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of business process modelling, workflow design, and business data structures.
- Experience supporting data migration, data validation, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with both business and technical audiences.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with Bizzdesign Alfabet, Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management, or Technology Planning tools.
- Knowledge of architecture modelling tools such as Alfabet, ARIS, LeanIX, or Sparx EA.
- Experience working within Australian government, utilities, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Exposure to enterprise integration concepts and data management practices.
