Role Purpose
To lead and standardize administration, facilities management, and security operations across Arvind Limiteds manufacturing plants, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-optimized operations while enhancing employee and visitor experience. The role will drive process consistency, digitization, and vendor governance across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilities Management (Hard & Soft Services)
Oversee end-to-end plant facilities operations including:
o Utilities, maintenance, and infrastructure upkeep
o Housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, and waste management
Ensure high uptime of critical infrastructure (power, HVAC, water systems, etc.).
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Standardize SOPs and SLAs across plants for consistent service delivery.
2. Security & Risk Management
Lead plant-level security operations including access control, surveillance systems, and perimeter security.
Ensure robust manned guarding and electronic surveillance systems (CCTV, RFID, etc.).
Drive initiatives for digitized and proactive security management (analytics, incident reporting tools).
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and emergency response planning.
Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate security standards.
3. Vendor & Contract Management
Manage and govern facility management agencies, security agencies, and service providers.
Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
Drive commercial negotiations, rate contracts, and cost optimization initiatives.
Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and audits.
4. Multi-Location Governance & Standardization
Establish a centralized governance framework for all plant admin operations.
Drive uniform policies, reporting formats, and service benchmarks across locations
Benchmark with industry best practices and continuously upgrade standards.
Enable cross-location synergies and resource optimization.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
Develop and manage annual OPEX/CAPEX budgets for plant administration.
Track spends across facilities, security, utilities, and services.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Provide monthly MIS, dashboards, and variance analysis to leadership.
6. Digitization & Automation
Drive implementation of digital tools for facility and security management:
o CAFM systems
o Visitor management systems
o Asset tracking and maintenance tools
Introduce data-driven dashboards for operational visibility and decision-making.
Reduce manual processes and improve efficiency through automation.
7. Compliance & EHS Coordination
Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, audit requirements, and internal policies.
Work closely with EHS teams for safety compliance and plant readiness.
Support audits, certifications, and inspections (internal and external).
Ensure readiness for emergency response and disaster management protocols.
8. Stakeholder Management
Partner with Plant Heads, HR, EHS, Procurement, and Corporate Admin teams.
Act as a single point of contact for all admin-related escalations across plants.
Drive employee-centric initiatives to improve workplace experience.
Ensure high responsiveness and service quality across locations.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree (Engineering / MBA preferred)
15+ years of experience in plant administration / facilities management / security operations
Experience in multi-location manufacturing environments
Strong exposure to vendor management, compliance, and infrastructure operations
