Job Summary
Hostelwala is looking for a dynamic and empathetic Student Counsellor to assist students and parents in finding suitable hostel accommodation. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to convert inquiries into confirmed hostel admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding hostel accommodation, facilities, room options, and pricing.
- Handle inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and online leads.
- Explain hostel amenities, rules, payment process, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to convert inquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM/software regularly.
- Coordinate with the operations team for smooth room allocation and student onboarding.
- Conduct hostel visits and property tours for prospective students and parents.
- Achieve monthly admission targets and maintain high conversion rates.
Requirements
- Qualification: Graduate (Any Stream)
- Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome to apply.)
- Strong communication, counselling, and convincing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM tools, and email).
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Experience in admissions, counselling, sales, or customer service is an added advantage.
