Position Overview
Roys Cable is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks to support cable production and related infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, Arc, Gas welding) on metal components used in cable manufacturing and installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure durability and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a factory environment.
- Certification in welding (preferred but not mandatory).
