- Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
- Reservation Management: Handle bookings (via phone, email, or reservation apps), monitor waitlists, and give accurate wait-time estimates.
- Coordination: Balance seating rotations to distribute workload evenly among waitstaff, and communicate with the kitchen regarding large parties or dietary restrictions.
- Customer Service: Answer inquiries, address guest complaints professionally, and accommodate special requests.
