Job Title: Inventory Purchase Executive
Location: Corporate Office – Kalamandir Jewellers
Job Summary:
The Inventory Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of jewellery inventory and related materials. The role involves coordinating with vendors, placing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining proper purchase records while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase jewellery inventory and related materials as per company requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for quotations, pricing, and product availability.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and terms with vendors.
- Ensure quality check of purchased items before acceptance.
- Maintain proper purchase records and documentation in the system.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of inventory.
- Coordinate with inventory, accounts, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferably Commerce/Business).
- 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement (jewellery/retail preferred).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of inventory and purchase processes.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/Excel and documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
