Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team across all stations
- Develop and refine the menu with a focus on authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine
- Ensure consistency in taste, plating, and portion control
- Manage food inventory, stock rotation, and vendor coordination
- Monitor food costs and control kitchen wastage
- Enforce hygiene and food safety standards (FSSAI compliance)
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Collaborate with management on seasonal specials and promotional menus
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a senior kitchen role
- Strong expertise in South Indian cuisine
- Experience in a fine dining or premium dining environment preferred
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen administration
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management is an advantage
- Passionate about vegetarian cuisine and culinary authenticity
