Job Summary
The Sanskrit Teacher is responsible for teaching Sanskrit language and literature to students in accordance with the school's curriculum. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering students' language proficiency, promoting appreciation for Sanskrit culture and heritage, and assessing student progress through continuous evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Sanskrit lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and spoken Sanskrit.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom participation.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic reports.
- Encourage student participation through interactive teaching methods and language activities.
- Support students with varying learning abilities through differentiated instruction.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices where appropriate.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and best practices in language teaching.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or mandatory, as per school requirements).
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit grammar, literature, and pedagogy.
- Proficiency in English and/or the regional language for effective communication.

Experience

Pay: ₹10,294.12 - ₹30,000.00 per month
