Position: Senior Accountant

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee end-to-end financial accounting, tax compliance, project billing, and cost tracking for our interior design and manufacturing operations. You will manage our financial health across turnkey commercial/residential interior projects, factory production expenses, vendor payments, and statutory filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial & Project Accounting: Maintain accurate general ledgers, day-to-day bookkeeping, and accounts receivable/payable for both client projects and manufacturing workflows.
- Project Billing & RA Bills: Prepare and review Running Account (RA) bills, tax invoices, client milestones, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) reconciliations for ongoing interior contracts.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Handle timely filing and reconciliation of GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS deductions/returns, ESI/PF compliance, and annual Income Tax statements.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Reconciliations: Verify site expenses, material procurement invoices (OEMs, hardware, timber/boards), factory overheads, and subcontractor billing prior to disbursement.
- Cash Flow & Budgeting: Monitor project cash flows, track retention money/advances across active contracts, and maintain banking transactions/reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and project profitability reports for management review.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or Finance.
- Experience: 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in interior execution, construction, real estate, or manufacturing sectors.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel (pivots, VLOOKUP, financial modeling), and GST/e-Way bill online portals.
- Taxation Expertise: Thorough understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax), vendor invoice verification, and statutory audit preparation.
- Analytical Ability: Strong numerical proficiency with high accuracy in handling multi-project cost accounting and client billing.
Compensation & Working Hours
- Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (commensurate with experience and skill level).
- Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Off on Sundays and standard company holidays).
