Core duties and responsibilities
- Prospect and lead generation: Identify and reach out to potential customers through various methods like cold calls, emails, and networking.
- Sales presentations and demonstrations: Present and explain products or services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and features.
- Negotiation and closing: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through follow-ups, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market analysis: Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, identify new business opportunities, and stay updated on competitor activities.
- Sales pipeline and data management: Manage the sales pipeline, track sales progress, and maintain accurate client and sales data, often using a CRM tool.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on sales activities, conversion rates, market trends, and other key metrics.
- After-sales support: Provide ongoing support to customers to ensure they are satisfied and to encourage repeat business or referrals.
