We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier cum Admin to manage daily cash transactions and provide administrative support to ensure smooth branch operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical ability, integrity, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:Cash Handling Duties:
- Handle daily cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate cash balance and ensure proper reconciliation.
- Process cheques, demand drafts, and other banking instruments.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations.
- Maintain transaction records and update the system accurately.
- Identify and report discrepancies immediately.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain branch documentation and records systematically.
- Assist in customer account opening and KYC verification.
- Coordinate with internal departments for operational requirements.
- Manage filing, data entry, and report preparation.
- Support audit and compliance activities.
- Handle customer queries and provide basic banking information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in banking, finance, or cashier role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of banking procedures and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
