Job Title: Solar Design – Intern
Experience: 0–1 year
Location- Pune Baner / Viman Nagar
Qualification: B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering
Basic Requirements
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and MS Office
- Understanding of solar PV systems (academic/project level knowledge is acceptable)
- Willingness to learn tools like HelioScope and PVsyst
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts (AC/DC systems, cables, earthing, etc.)
- Ability to read basic engineering or architectural drawings (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and engineering of solar PV projects
- Support in preparing design layouts using AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Help in performing basic calculations for AC/DC design, cable sizing, and system components
- Assist in shadow analysis and energy estimation using tools like HelioScope and PVsyst
- Support in preparation of BoM (Bill of Materials) and BoQ under guidance
- Work closely with the Project Execution team to understand project requirements
- Assist in preparing reports such as PVsyst generation reports
- Review and update design documents as per feedback from senior engineers
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of design tasks
