We are looking for an experienced Sr. Detailing Designer / Production Engineer for its modular furniture manufacturing unit. The role requires strong factory-side detailing experience, technical knowledge of modular furniture construction, production-file preparation, and coordination with the production team to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Build and validate the parametric product library on the company’s design-to-manufacturing ERP; full vendor training will be provided. Generate daily production files, including cutting lists, edge-band schedules, hardware Bills of Materials (BOMs), and CNC nesting.
Lead and guide 2 junior CAD designers. Coordinate closely with the Production Head to maintain the 7-day delivery cycle.
Prepare accurate technical drawings and manufacturing details for modular furniture products. Ensure all designs are production-ready and comply with factory requirements.
Review dimensions, materials, hardware specifications, and production feasibility before release. Required Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and any cabinet software such as IMOS, Cabinet Vision, Polyboard, TopSolid, or similar.
Deep working knowledge of PLPB/MDF furniture construction. Strong knowledge of hardware fitment, including hinges, channels, minifix, and related fittings.
Understanding of edge-band logic and CNC manufacturing constraints. Ability to prepare cutting lists, hardware BOMs, and production-ready drawings.
Strong technical detailing, problem-solving, and team-coordination skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
