Key Requirement for the Position
8 – 10 years of SME/Retail lending experience with 4-5 years in a managerial role.
Relevant postgraduate degree from a reputed institute.
Proven Sales track record
Strong people management skills to lead a team of Managers
Relevant experience of SME Loans/Housing Loans/Personal Loan/Retail Sales would be preferred
Comfortable in interfacing with clients
Passionate about working in a social enterprise
Willingness to travel extensively across the region
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will have end to end accountability for Sales, Collections and Marketing for a
particular region in India. This position will be responsible to build and drive an effective and motivated sales
team of Cluster Business Managers and Relationship Managers.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) would have revenue generation responsibility along with people
management combined with a passion to make a difference by working in a social enterprise. A bias towards
action and decision making are essential. Building relationships with teams at the region, head office as well as
customers (school owners) will be a key contributor for this role.
High energy optimistic people with willingness to travel who love meeting people and building loyal and
effective teams would be a preferred choice. The person would have spent 8-10 years managing sales at
various levels and would have managed teams of significant size in the past.
Team Management – Recruit, lead, motivate, develop, coach a team of highly competent Cluster Business
Managers and Relationship Managers and lead by example. Build great working relationship with the
regional and head office teams.
Sales Management – Build data driven performance monitoring system, develop and maintain sustainable
Sales process and techniques to build a team that can take on multi product sales.
Marketing Management - Plan and execute the marketing strategy in collaboration with the Beyond
Loans team as well as the Sales Head for the entire region. Conceptualize and execute region/cluster
specific events and programs to enhance brand visibility.
Collection Management - Responsible for timely and effective collections. Develop strategies, execution
plan and resourcing teams to ensure zero/ minimal delinquencies for the region
Operations and Cost Management - Ensure process compliance in the region. Maintaining & optimizing
profitability for the region through managing costs, high productivity and building a superior quality
portfolio
Responsible to deliver sales targets measured in numbers, portfolio, Beyond loans, productivity and
profitability for a particular region
Work closely with the central teams at the Head Office to ensure the region/ branch offices are complaint
and upto date on changes to procedures or policies
