Job Summary
Almeerah is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the company's accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in Tally and MS Excel, and excellent verbal and written English communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily financial activities.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and support monthly closing activities.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors, and internal teams regarding account-related matters.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Handle email correspondence and communicate professionally with stakeholders in English.
- Support the finance team with administrative and accounting tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and basic financial reporting.
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) are mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
