seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) to join our Department of Rehabilitation Services. You will play a pivotal role in designing and leading comprehensive recovery programs for patients recovering from strokes, traumatic injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic disabling conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations of patients with physical disabilities or functional impairments.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and oversee multi-disciplinary rehabilitation plans involving physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and orthotics/prosthetics.
- Clinical Intervention: Perform non-surgical procedures, including musculoskeletal injections (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections, USG-guided interventions) and spasticity management (e.g., Botulinum toxin injections).
- Collaboration: Lead a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure a holistic approach to patient mobility, pain management, and functional independence.
- Quality of Life: Provide expert guidance on assistive technology, home modifications, and long-term disability management.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS + MD / DNB in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR).
- Experience: 2 to 9 years of clinical experience in a hospital or specialized rehabilitation center.
- Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Proficiency in functional assessment, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, and specialized rehabilitation techniques; strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per month
