Job Title: Sales Executive — Fire Protection Solutions
Location: Shivaji Nagar, Pune
Reports to: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head
Role Summary:
Drive sales of fire protection products (extinguishers, alarms, suppression systems, spare parts) and grow recurring revenue through maintenance, inspection, and service contracts. Manage full sales cycle from lead generation and product demonstrations to proposal, negotiation, closure and contract renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect, qualify and develop new business with commercial, industrial and institutional clients focused on product sales and maintenance contracts.
Conduct product demonstrations, explain features/benefits, and recommend suitable solutions.
Prepare commercial proposals, pricing, and quotations; negotiate and close sales.
Promote and sell annual maintenance, inspection and service contracts; secure renewals and upsells.
Coordinate site visits and basic technical assessments; liaise with engineering for complex requirements.
Maintain and update CRM with leads, opportunities, quotations, contracts and activity notes.
Manage handover to service/installation teams and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Support tender responses and participate in client meetings as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, contractors, property developers and procurement teams.
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and maintenance contract KPIs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree: BCom, BSc, or BA.
1–4 years of sales experience, preferably in fire protection products, safety equipment, MEP supplies or related field.
Proven ability to sell products and close service/maintenance contracts is preferred.
Core Skills & Competencies:
Strong product-selling and negotiation skills with a focus on recurring-revenue contracts.
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Basic technical aptitude to understand product specifications and conduct site assessments.
CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office skills.
Target-driven, organized, able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
Willingness to travel frequently for site visits; valid driver’s license.

Product sales revenue vs. target
Number and value of maintenance/service contracts sold and renewed
Pipeline value and conversion rate
Average deal size and sales cycle length
Customer satisfaction and successful handovers
