We're hiring a driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Kothrud, Pune and drive course enrolments.
About the role
You'll be the front line of our growth — calling prospects every day, understanding their goals, pitching our programs, and closing enrolments. You'll own your sales targets and directly grow our learner community.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Make daily outbound calls to prospective learners and generate qualified leads
- Understand customer needs and pitch FoodTech Pathshala's courses effectively
- Negotiate, handle objections, and close deals to convert leads into enrolments
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with consistent follow-ups
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals
- Maintain accurate records of calls and conversions in Excel/CRM
- Share regular reports on sales activity and market feedback
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Business/Marketing preferred)
- Strong daily calling discipline and confidence speaking with new prospects
- Good negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Professional working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of AI tools and willingness to use them for productivity
- Clear communication skills, target-oriented mindset, high ownership
- Prior sales/tele-calling/BD experience an advantage; freshers with the right attitude may apply
- A personal laptop is compulsory for this role
